Last weekend I met up with Rachel Cross; I used to lead her older sister in the youth group at church and her mom is the most fun runner chick I know! They’re such a fun and fabulous family and Rachel has grown into such a gorgeous young lady! She’s so funny and confident and it shows in these photos!
She’s a senior at my alma mater: Ocean Springs High School and she’s already checking out her college choices! Best of luck to this smart, lovely and beautiful girl!
Rachel’s so cool, even a random dog walked up at the end of our session and she just went with the flow and the dog sat down for a couple shots 🙂 Loved it!
If you’re interested in booking a Senior session, please contact me! I have many senior packages available, all which include digital copies for sharing your sweet photos online and on social media!
On Sunday, I met up with my great friend Ashley. She is a kick-butt trainer and woman of God! She is so inspiring and has been bit with the blogging bug herself lately! She asked if I would take some photos for use on her blog and on some sites that she will be guest-blogging on as well. She texted me before we met asking about the foggy conditions, but they were perfect! The fog diffused the normally harsh mid-day sun and apart from the higher than normal humidity, it was a great session! (So don’t be afraid of non-sunny conditions, I can always make the conditions work for your session!)
It’s always fun to hang with Ashley and I highly suggest reading her blog here and contacting her if you have any fitness needs! She’ll whip you RIGHT into shape and I know she’ll make you have fun while you’re working your booty off!
I had the pleasure of working with Andy and Andria for both their engagement and wedding photography. I really enjoy doing both sessions with a couple so we can be comfortable and familiar with each other so that when the big day comes, they feel totally at ease with me. Andy & Andria took some amazing engagement photos which you can see here!
Their wedding was just over 2 weeks ago and it was a beautiful day! It was decorated with fall colors and rustic charm at The Old Place in Gautier, MS, a gorgeous setting! So without further delay, here are some photos from their special day!
I’d like to thank Andria and the Anderson family for picking me to be their photographer. They were the most fun and easy going clients a photographer could dream of! Also congratulations to the awesome (and great looking!) new Avgerinos family!
I’m back from Raleigh, NC but wanted to share more photos from the trip! Last week I shared these photos, and now here’s another set!
I went to the North Carolina Museum of Art two days in a row last week. It’s that awesome! There are 2 buildings housing artwork and there are multiple sculptures in the surrounding museum park and trails and I still didn’t get to see everything! Again, I’d highly recommend a visit there!
I even lost my lens cap twice and had to retrace my steps quite a bit to find it each time!
There are even remains (the smokestack below and some other sculptures) of the old youth prison that was once housed there!
Then, the next day, I had the opportunity to go back to the Raleigh Rose Garden and do some portraits with some local models. One of the models was late, so I unfortunately didn’t get many photos with her due to time restraints, but it was still really fun to work with them, as well as the other 2 photographers who were there!
Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. The weather was great, the city was really fun to explore and everyone that I met was extremely nice. Even that far North (even though NC is still technically the “South”), Southern hospitality is still easy to find!
I had the absolute privilege to photograph an old friends delivery of her firstborn on Friday. I was able to photograph her maternity photos and this delivery was the total icing on the cake, photographically speaking!
I’ve known Amy and her family for as long as I’ve known my husband. She was in the youth group that my husband taught when we met and she has always been a friend to us. Even though I’m not that much older than her, seeing her grow into a beautiful adult and marry and become pregnant has been a wonderful experience!
I arrived Friday knowing that she was going to be induced and what followed was a joyous, love-filled day. I took over 1500 photos, so this is only a small taste of all I have to share with her. I’m currently out of town, but I couldn’t wait to share these and have been editing while I’m visiting my mother and sister 🙂
So without further ado: part 1 of Laikyn’s arrival!
Recently, a friend from high school who now lives in Chicago contacted me about photographing her son’s 1st birthday party. She was in town and was having a party at a friend’s house. So I’d get to take photos of adorable kids and have a mini reunion? Count me in!
The party was rubber ducky themed complete with bubbles and rubber ducky shaped sandwiches. Jackson got to dig into his first delicious cupcake and he got some great gifts too!
An adorable family!

Mini Ocean Springs High School Reunion!
These people know how to coordinate their clothes wonderfully for a photo!
Working with friends is always wonderful, especially ones you haven’t seen in a while! It was a great day and I hope Jackson has a happy 1st birthday!
I’m currently “on-call”, as it were, for a new addition to a friend’s family! When I get the call, I’m headed to the hospital to document her precious birth! While I wait on word from the expectant mother below, I wanted to share her beautiful maternity photos.
She is a friend of my husband and I and she used to be in our youth group at church. Now she’s all grown up and having her first child! How time flies! She is such a fun and sweet young woman and I can’t wait to see and photograph her little arrival!
Until then, I hope you enjoy these photographs of the beautiful and glowing Amy and her husband John.
Congratulations again you two and I can’t wait to meet your bundle of love!
